Unlike most sporting events, there is no purse or prize money for the participation in The Presidents Cup. Each competitor is able to designate a charity that will receive a portion of the funds raised throughout each Presidents Cup. More than $23 million has been distributed to at least 380 charities since the inception of The Presidents Cup in 1994.
